On July 7, 2023, the following announcement was made at the press conference of the Foreign Correspondents&apos; Club of Japan.・Establishment of the so-called IUT Innovator Prize : The IUT Innovator Prize will award one best paper every year for 10 years from 2024, containing new and significant developments in IUT theory and related fields, with the prize money from $20,000 to $100,000.At the same time, it was also announced that Nobuo Kawakami (founder of Dwango Co., Ltd.) will establish the so-called IUT Challenger Prize as an individual.・The IUT Challenger Prize will award $1 million to the first mathematician to write a paper that shows an essential flaw in the IUT theory.

2023年7月7日日本外国特派員協会の記者会見において、以下の発表がなされました。・IUT Innovator Prize（IUT革新者賞）の創設：IUT Innovator Prize（IUT革新者賞）は、2024年から10年間毎年、IUT理論とその関連分野における新しい重要な発展を含む最優秀論文1編に、賞金2万ドル〜 10万ドルを贈呈するものです。また、これと同時に川上量生（株式会社ドワンゴ創業者）個人としてIUT Challenger Prize（IUT挑戦者賞）を創設することも発表されました。・IUT Challenger PrizeはIUT理論の本質的な欠陥を示した論文を執筆した最初の数学者に100万ドルを贈呈するというものです。
